In 2014 Major Logistics Limited, acquired the business and whilst the name over the door has changed its commitment to providing high quality services remained the same. Gary Major, the current Managing Director and owner, has been in 3rd Party logistics for over 30 years and brought a different approach to managing its customers’ businesses, with vast experience in Transport, Warehousing, Stock Control, E-com and home delivery.
Over the past thirty years the company has provided solutions for some of the biggest names in UK business and will continue to do so. Simply because a third-party provider isn’t one of the largest doesn’t mean it can’t be excellent at what it does. Fenn Logistics is one such organisation.
From our operational base in Derby we are able to provide a national logistics service using a mix of dedicated and multi-user vehicles as well as managing sub-contractors to reach those hard to service locations.
We seek to reduce cost wherever we can by back-loading and our traffic planning system is tried and tested and is the epitome of the sore ‘If it ain’t broke …’
Fenn Logistics operate a mixed fleet comprising curtain side and box trailers providing significant flexibility when it comes to delivery to our customers’ customers. Our fleet of 44 t, Artics are all fitted with trackers and telematics.
Some of our units operate as dedicated support for key clients right across the UK handling food, beverages as well as general cargo, but nothing hazardous as yet. The range of sectors that we are currently providing logistics for includes:

We have been trading for almost 30years and currently provide a range of dedicated and casual vehicles to customers that include confectionery, food services, multiple retailers and food processors. These are serviced using a combination of box vans and curtains. For one of our current customers above, we already deliver to two of the discount grocery retailers and fully understand the “self unload” process.
Fenn Logistics has the capacity and capability to deliver a full service and warehousing rather than storage has always been at the centre of what we do. The key is keeping the number of times a product can be handled to the absolute minimum – it’s not our product but we treat it as if it is.
